JOB DESCRIPTION
Towards the goal of making VPBank one of the leading banks in data management and application, improving competitiveness in the digital era, VPBank focuses on building and stably operating a data platform, Apply data analysis results to business activities and optimize operations, enhance the application of data science (AI) and machine learning (ML) technology as well as promote data transformation on the platform cloud computing platform and strategy implementation, data initiatives, data architecture.
This position is in charge of research, proposal, consulting, implementation of technology solutions, planning, optimization, data management and system development for individual customers, data platform conversion ( Data Mart) of Science and Technology from on-prem to Cloud
1. Develop & optimize data mart for Science and Technology segment:
- Analyze business requirements for data systems from sources, coordinate to build data requirements for reporting and analysis from different source systems such as T24, W4, ...
- Operate, develop & optimize data flows – both data arrays & sandboxes for Analytics teams
- Maintain & develop the data dictionary system for the Science and Technology sector
2. Convert & develop data on Cloud:
- Research & deploy data on the cloud according to the Next Gen Data Analytics Platform project as well as BAU
- Convert & operate data flow from on-prem to cloud
- Consulting & supporting other members of the department in data mining activities (cloud/prem)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
University degree or higher related to one of the fields of economics, finance, banking, or information technology, computer science, applied mathematics
Minimum 5 years in data management/reporting in banking and consumer finance
Query, organize, analyze data
Use updated technologies for data processing for data development and operations with MSSQL, Oracle, AWS
Experience in retail banking is an advantage
Using ETL tools like SSIS, experience using DTB is an advantage
Experience in implementing Cloud data platforms is an advantage
Have knowledge of relational databases RDBMS, NoSQL
Design and programming for systems such as Data warehouse, Data lake, lakehouse, API, CI/CD systems. ETL, ELT, batch/stream data processing and data flow services, operational flow management: SSIS, Spark, Nifi, Airflow, DBT, Redshift. Data programming (SQL, spark, python)
Experience with at least one of the BI Tools is an advantage (PowerBI, Quicksights, ...)
